The Department of Management and Economics is firmly committed to expanding the international reach of Pegaso Digital University, in alignment with the University’s Strategic Plan. Its core strategy centres on strengthening international scientific relations by actively involving Research Groups, Faculty Members and Researchers, with the aim of embedding the Department’s scientific output more deeply within the global academic community. This vision takes shape through studies, collaborative projects and partnerships with foreign institutions, universities, departments, scientific associations, and international scholars. Research internationalisation is conceived as a middleware, a connective network of academic relationships that continually fosters new opportunities for scientific collaboration and intellectual exchange. To support this mission, the Department provides Faculty, Researchers, and Administrative Staff with dedicated organisational, training, and professional development resources. Going beyond individual excellence, the Department leverages its structural capital—including Research Groups, seminars and training programmes, to attract international Visiting Scholars. This strategic vision is strongly promoted by the Department, which recognises internationalisation as a key driver in enhancing the University’s academic reputation. The growing network of international relations plays a vital role in positioning Pegaso Digital University within major national and international rankings, reinforcing its presence in the global academic landscape. To this end, the Department has signed several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), which serve as effective instruments for establishing structured and long-term collaborations with prestigious international institutions. These agreements support joint research projects, academic exchanges, and shared initiatives, thereby enhancing the global integration and visibility of the Department’s research activities
