List of Research Centers
The Research Centers support the positioning and leadership of professors and researchers within the scientific and professional community, promoting collaboration and the exchange of good practices between the University and the best experiences and skills existing on the national and international territory.
Therefore, they promote the aggregation of the scientific community and the creation of interdisciplinary, international and multi-stakeholder collaborations. Furthermore, the Research Centers promote activities and initiatives dedicated to improving the ability to attract research funds, expanding research activities and developing projects with companies and institutions.
Currently, the Department hosts the Departmental Research Center in Data Analysis, Intelligence, Security, Information (AISI) and the Interdepartmental Center for Environmental, Sustainability and Governance studies
(ESG).
Departmental Research Centre in Data analysis, Intelligence, Security, Information (AISI)
The AISI Research Centre is a specialised institution dedicated to cutting-edge and high-impact fields such as Information Science, Intelligence, and Geopolitical Economic Analysis. In response to stakeholder needs and with the aim of fostering collaborative projects that advance and expand research trajectories, the Centre has established dedicated Research Observatories within its structure, each focused on specific strategic sectors. The Director is Professor Manlio Del Giudice. The following Research Observatories and Istitutes are affiliated with the AISI Departmental Research Centre:

Interdepartmental Research Center in Environmental, Sustainability and Governance studies (ESG)
The centre aims to consolidate, on an interdisciplinary level, knowledge of some of the most important issues of our time, on topics relating to sustainability and historical changes in legal systems. The research and study activities of the Centre also involve the Department Law and the Department of Wellness, Nutrition and Sport.
The Director is Prof. Ada Manfreda.
Other Departmental Structures
The Department hosts within it further structures, such as Laboratories and Academies, aimed at creating and promoting integrated research paths (basic research, applied research and experimental development), involving institutional representatives and structured professors of high scientific qualification.
The target of these specific departmental structures is to develop analyses of the innovative needs of stakeholders and promote
collaborative aggregate projects capable of enhancing and declining research trajectories. The following structures are affiliated with the Department:
