Description: This PRA project aims to investigate emerging business models and value creation strategies within the cultural and creative industries, in light of the sector’s ongoing alignment with the European Commission’s priorities on green and digital transition and social innovation. In particular, the project seeks to examine the new challenges and opportunities arising from the evolution of global knowledge markets, with a specific focus on the strategic role of Data and Information Analysis, Business Intelligence (BI) systems, Cybersecurity, and Data-Driven Decision-Making (DDM) processes in shaping innovative business models.

ASIEA - Agri-food sustainable innovation ecosystems: towards a new approach to the study and management of the agri-food sector

Description: This FRC project aims to explore the agri-food industry and map Sustainable Innovation Ecosystems (SIEs) through environmental, economic, cultural, and social lenses. The study seeks to evaluate the sector’s capacity—enhanced by technological progress—to drive sustainable innovation and generate economic value for both ecosystems and local communities. The project endeavours to define a new business model that integrates biotechnology, knowledge, and innovation, drawing on multidisciplinary expertise across biotechnology, agro-industry, tourism, and cultural promotion. Its core objective is to develop models of sustainable innovation ecosystems within the agri-food sector.

Data-driven analytics and technologies for advancing food systems through optimization of demand and sustainable development

Description: This FRC project aims to analyze new trends in food consumption and the growing focus on supply chain safety and traceability, in a context of convergence between the agri-food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Through predictive models based on artificial intelligence, it aims to support businesses and institutions in developing strategies aimed at food safety, prevention, sustainable growth, and public health protection.
